
Food & Friends Executive Director Carrie Stoltzfus recently appeared on the Washington Informer’s WIN-TV to highlight National Minority Health Month and discuss our vital role in supporting minority communities facing life-challenging illnesses. Nearly three out of four Food & Friends clients represent minority communities. During the conversation, she emphasized the importance of culturally competent care and Food & Friends’ commitment to delivering medically tailored meals and nutrition counseling to individuals battling conditions such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, heart disease, and diabetes.
