Start the Hunt!
Food & Friends recently launched our newly re-designed flagship website. The website features a more modern, mobile-friendly user interface with improved navigation and ease of use for the neighbors we serve, our partners, and donors. To help everyone become more familiar with the website, Food & Friends is holding a scavenger hunt contest.
To participate, browse the challenge questions below and search the website for the correct answers. Submit your responses using the button above, and you will be entered to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card!
One winner will be selected randomly by a computer process that produces a verifiably random result and the contest is open to all (with the exception of Food & Friends staff and board members). The contest winner must reside within Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia. We will collect responses over the next three weeks and announce the lucky winner on Thursday, March 17, 2022.
Challenge Questions:
1. Our delivery area covers 5,346 square miles. What percentage of deliveries take place in Virginia?
2. Nutrition education is critical to our work at Food & Friends. On July 20, 2022, we will be hosting a virtual education webinar. What is the topic?
3. Volunteers of all ages are the lifeblood of our home-delivered medically tailored meal prep and grocery operations. What minimum age must you be to work in our kitchen preparing and packaging meals?
4. Food & Friends delivers medically tailored meals to thousands of adults and children in the greater Washington, D.C. region. Lyniss Guildford is one of these people. In her “Featured Story,” what fruit does Lyniss say she wants to try next?
5. What “community-wide celebration” is taking place on Monday, June 13, 2022?
