Winter Holidays

Thank you so much for thinking of joining us at Food & Friends this Holiday season. Without you, we would not be able to provide more than 3,000 meals a day to our clients facing life-challenging illnesses. Your support makes it possible for each client to feel encouraged & cared for.

We hope you can join us in one of the many volunteer opportunities we have throughout the week of December 20th –January 6th.

Food Preparation & Packaging
Individual volunteers & groups are needed to assist with the holiday food preparation and packing groceries in our kitchen. Kitchen shifts last two to three hours and are available at 9 am, 1 pm, and 6 pm. Kitchen volunteers must be at least 14 years old and accompanied by a parent or guardian if under the age of 18.

Meal & Grocery Delivery
Individual volunteers & groups are needed to assist with the holiday meal & grocery delivery directly to our clients doors. Delivery shifts start at 9:00am or 10:00am and typically take 1-3 hours to complete.

Volunteers must use their own vehicle, have a valid driver’s license, and clean driving record. The driver must be at least 18, but there is no lower age limit for passengers, making this a great activity for the whole family.
